★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1735年から明治維新まで陣屋を久美浜に置き、隣の豊岡市を含む大きな支配下で久美浜県庁にもなっていた町で、昔の権威を示すかの如く立派な駅と街並みは「ウナギの寝床」のような間口は狭いが奥行きのある家が立ち並んでいるし、ただの田舎とは趣が違う。ゆっくり歩いてみてはいかがでしょうか？街は小さいので歩いて久美浜公園まで行くこともできます。
From 1735 to the Meiji Restoration, Jinya was set up in Kumihama, and it was also the Kumihama Prefectural Office under great control including the neighboring Toyooka city. The frontage is narrow, but there are many houses with depth, and it is different from the ordinary countryside. How about walking slowly? The town is small so you can walk to Kumihama Park.
