ちょっと停車して眺められる手軽さが良いです。
 It is a superb view point where you can see Mount Norikura every season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天気が良いと山と山合いの家々が眼下に広がり癒されます。近く牧場があって立ち寄りました。お馬さんや羊さん、ヤギさんがいてほんわかします。カフェも営業していてソフトクリームが美味しかった。
When the weather is fine, the mountains and the houses of the mountain will be spread under your eyes and healed. There was a ranch nearby and I stopped by. There are horses, sheep and goats. The cafe was open and the soft cream was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前旧高山市から旧朝日村方面に直接抜ける道は、美女峠（旧国道361号線）しかなかったのですが、いまは飛騨ふるさとトンネルと名付けられたトンネルがとおっていますが、そのトンネルを旧朝日村に抜けてしばらくくだったところにこの展望台があります。
ちょうどここから飛騨山脈・北アルプスを望むことができます。（主に乗鞍岳）
いつも春に旧朝日村方面に桜を求めて向かうのですが、その際に天気が良い時はこの展望台によってから向かいます。
ちなみに、この展望台付近にもちいさいながらも何本かの桜が咲いており、トンネルを抜けての最初の桜スポットになっています。

少し天気が悪かったのですが、かろうじて乗鞍岳が見えています。

I always head for the cherry blossoms in the direction of the former Asahi Village in the spring, but when the weather is fine on this occasion I head by this observation deck.
By the way, there are some cherry blossoms in the vicinity of this observation deck, but it is the first cherry blossom spot through the tunnel.

The weather was a little bad, but I can barely see Mt. Norikura.
