★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日蓮宗の寺院で、当山には大きな弓矢が保管されており、昔、勝浦の赤羽に住んでいた豪族・関平内が猟犬と共に狩りに行った際、休息中に襲ってきた大蛇をこの弓矢で退治したと云われており、このお話は『関平内と大蛇』という大多喜町の民話となっています。整備された大きな駐車場あります。
This is a temple of Nichiren Buddhism, where a large bow and arrow is stored in this mountain, and when the ancestor Sekihiranai, who lived in Akabane in Katsuura, went hunting with a hound, he killed the snake that attacked while resting with this bow and arrow. This story is a folk tale of Otaki Town called “Sekihiranai and Orobi”. There is a large parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石段がつらい人は車で近くまで登ることができます。駐車場も広め。とても雰囲気がいいので私は石段から行くことをお勧めします。
本堂奥には七面山への登山口があり、お堂の手前からは上総中野駅周辺を一望できます。
別の方が挙げている大蛇退治伝説は、ここから南にある田代滝が舞台になっています。とてもいいところなので合わせて行ってみることをお勧めします。
People with hard stone steps can drive up close. The parking lot is also wide. The atmosphere is so nice that I recommend going from the stone steps.
At the back of the main hall, there is a trailhead to Mt. Shichimen, and from the front of the hall, you can overlook the area around Kazusa-Nakano Station.
The legend of Orochi extermination mentioned by another person is set in Tashiro Waterfall, which is south of here. It's a very nice place, so I recommend you to go there as well.
