駅の近くにあり在校生も結構多かった印象です。

学校内に目立った虐め等はなく平穏に過ごそうと思えば過ごせる。
近くに塾等があるせいか、勉強できる子とできない子の差が激しい為、一部の教師は勉強できない子への配慮がしっかりしている。
部活動に積極的で多くの部活動が大会で活躍している。
中には推薦で私立高校に進学する子もいる。
行事に積極的すぎる面があり、教師が差別しようとしてる訳では無いにしろあまり積極的でない子や得意でない子を外す傾向がある。
生徒数が多い為、小学校時代の自惚れ等を見つめ直すことが出来るので、そこそこオススメではある。
