★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平安時代、菅谷字飯土井に九門長者という大地主がいました。そこの悪玉という召使いが坂上田村麻呂の子を宿し、その子が無事に成長したことから持仏の観音像を祀ったのが始まりといわれています。
 During the Heian period, there was a landowner named Kyumoncho in Sugaya character Iidoi. It is said that the servant, the bad guy, harbored the child of Sakanoue no Tamura Maro, who grew up safely and enshrined the Kannon statue of the Buddha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鼻取地蔵尊の地蔵堂の前にもう一つ小さなお堂?があります。
「子安観音」と書かれていますが、異国風のお顔や綺麗な衣服の線は、以前は周囲が田んぼだったところに在る観音様と思えない繊細さがあります。
隣接する地蔵堂にある鼻取地蔵尊は移設されたといわれています。この観音様もどこからか移設されたのでしょうか。
