★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 利府町には史跡・遺跡が多数あるのは意外と知られていないと思います。こちらの資料館では、過去、宮城県教育委員会の発掘調査で判明した史跡・遺跡を紹介している。
遺跡から出土した副葬品を始め、近年、三陸自動車道春日パーキングエリア設置に伴ない発掘調査した日本で初めてと言われている窯跡『春日窯跡群内の大沢窯跡』の原寸大のレプリカが展示されている。
常設展示エリアは、分かりやすく展示されており、企画展も精力的に行なわれている。
利府町内の史跡・遺跡を訪れる前に一度、こちらの資料館で下調べをすることをお勧めします。
下調べ後、個々の史跡・遺跡を訪れると、紀元前の石器時代から続く利府町の歴史ロマンが堪能出来ます。

A full-scale replica of the Osaki kiln ruins in the Kasuga kiln ruins, which is said to be the first in Japan that was excavated with the installation of the Sanriku Expressway Kasuga parking area in recent years, including sub-funerals excavated from the ruins It is on display.
The permanent exhibition area is displayed in an easy-to-understand manner, and special exhibitions are also held vigorously.
It is recommended that you check this museum once before visiting historic sites and ruins in Rifu.
