水の神様でもある弁天さまに因み、お堂の前には小さな橋がかけられ、また地下を水が音を立てて流れていました。
他に「辨財天女」と銘刻された百度石があるのですが、ゴツゴツとした石なので「百度岩」(？)という感じを受けました。
