★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 人里離れた山の奥の奥、飯豊山登山口近くの温泉。
いわゆる温泉街のようなものも無く、川と山があるだけの、純粋に自然と温泉を楽しむことが出来る宿泊施設。
立ち寄り湯だと、露天風呂は18:00までで、一人¥500-。
源泉は露天風呂のすぐ隣にあり、そこからポンプで湯船に送っている様子。
赤みがかった透明な泉質で、硫黄臭さもほぼ無く、さらりとしているので、結構長湯出来る。
ただ、夏とかは虫が多そうな感じなので、苦手な人は注意。

コロナ禍で
露天風呂で地元の方数名ビール持ち込んで長時間話して温泉入っていたので残念でした

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10月半ば紅葉はまだ早かった。 露天風呂に行くまで亀虫が凄くて踏まないように歩いた。食事は出来ず近くの喫茶でお茶したがそこでも亀虫⤵️ でも、お天気が良くて景色も良かった❗️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コロナ渦の為、立ち寄り入浴は10～16時に短縮されています。土曜日の昼時なのになんと一時間余り貸し切り状態でした。
41度ほどのやや温めの赤茶けた重曹泉。眼下に玉川渓谷、目前には飯豊連峰を眺む絶景を愛でながらゆるりと入浴できます。
露天入口に無料ロッカーあり。トイレは館内で済ませて来てください。
場所柄、確かに虫の脅威はありますね。
10月初旬のこの時はカメムシが飛び回り浴槽からも７匹掬いました。建屋の正面の壁にはざっと100匹以上は…今年は大流行年みたいですよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 素晴らしい景色の中で入る最高の温泉でした。とても遠くてなかなか行けない、露天風呂に向かう道にカメムシがたくさんいることで星マイナス１です。雪が降る前にもう一度行きたい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 登山の帰りに日帰り温泉として利用しました。大人500円。露天風呂からは川や緑が望め、眺めがよいです。温度は少し温めで私にはちょうどよかったです。ただ洗い場がないので必要な場合は本館の梅花皮荘を利用されるとよいようです。
