★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在の橋梁は、昭和39年に作られた。途中、ワーレントラス形状になっている。
途中から河川敷まで下る潜り橋になっている為に信濃川の増水により通行止めになる。
大郷橋、臼井橋、小須戸橋、庄瀬橋が、潜り橋だったが、臼井橋は架替られた。小須戸橋も架替予定である。

この時代の橋梁の最もポピュラーな構造で大型車は通過の際にトラス構造の鉄板に当たらないように注意が必要。
白根側は沈下構造になっているので信濃川増水の際は通行止めになる事が多い！
現在少し上流の方に新たな小須戸橋を建設している、完成すれば沈下橋でなくなり増水時でも通行可能！
