★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川崎駅もしくは京急川崎駅から徒歩にして５分のんびり歩いても１０分程度の繁華街を越えた市役所の裏手にある和洋中華の食堂である。昔からある食堂であるがリニューアルされているため店舗は明るく入り安い。価格帯も比較的安価で格別に美味しいと言うことはないが何を食べても普通に美味しい。
 A 5-minute walk from Kawasaki Station or Keikyu Kawasaki Station, it's a Japanese-Western Chinese restaurant behind the city hall, which takes about 10 minutes to walk across the downtown area. The restaurant is old but has been renewed, so the store is bright and cheap. The price range is relatively cheap and I can't say it's particularly delicious, but it's usually delicious no matter what you eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川崎平和通り商店街で70年？味のデパート食堂コシバ?2013年の火事の後は再オープンできるのか気になっていました。久々の訪問です?本日はコロッケ定食650円！写真は2個ですが1個は揚げている時爆発(笑)したそうで後で持ってきてくれました。昔ながらの子供の頃食べていたコロッケ、3個ペロリです。温かい接客もいいですね～帰りにもらえるお楽しみ券は5枚集めると50円引きになりますよ?

金曜の昼に伺うも11時~20時に営業しているとの張り紙があるが準備中の看板。
水木は18時に伺って閉まってたし、金は14時に伺ったのですが、いつ開いているのかよくわかりません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ まさに街の食堂。最近こういう店が少なくなってきたので貴重。ポークソテー定食800円はコスパ良い。ポークソテー率も高かった。昨夜行ったら閉まってたが、今日、昼に行ってみたら開いてた。良かった～。こういうご時世なので夜はご飯がなくなったら閉店とのこと。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 若鳥のかつ煮定食は800円。カツ煮のカツを豚ロースから鶏もも肉に差し替えた変わり種。
正直奇を衒った感は否めず、若干の後悔。次は王道メニューにトライしてみようと思うが、次があるかは未定。10席強しかない店内では、勤め人でランチ時は満席なので、11時の開店同時入店をお勧めします。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2001年から２年間、川崎の職場に勤務していた際に、何度も昼に立ち寄りました。町の食堂といった趣で、混んでいてもひどく待たされることはなかったです。
その後近くに立ち寄った際には、火事で焼けたそうで更地になっていたこともありました。
2021年10月
更地になっていた場所にお店があったので懐かしくなり20年ぶりに入店しました。以前より店内は小さく小綺麗になった気がします。好んで食べた鳥の照り焼き定食は昔の味のままでおいしくいただきました。今も現金払いのみのようです。

駅前通りから平和通り商店街をちょっと入ったところに地元で人気の食堂があると聞いてやってきました、コシバ。
味のデパートのメニューからカツ丼（710円税込）を注文！。他のメニューも良さげ。また来るよ( ﾟДﾟ)！

I heard that there is a popular local restaurant just inside the Heiwadori shopping street from Ekimae-dori, Koshiba.
