本山 身延山 久遠寺。
日蓮宗の寺。
慶長八年（1603年） 開祖 京都本山本法寺中興 功徳院日通上人が、母 妙尊尼の菩提を弔う為に北摂氷室の地に建立。
しかし、元治元年（1864年）近辺の溜池決壊により本堂が流出。
本尊、宝物全てを失う。
その後、明治三十八年（1905年）旧地より安全な場所に移転。
現在に至る。
四百年の歴史を刻む当寺は、高槻氷室の地で脈々と法華経広宣流布の為に布教活動を行っております。
