★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは、元「柴田」さんの土地で、格好の「遊び場」でした。保育所の敷地北側の用水路と西国街道との間は「笹藪（ささやぶ）」が広がっていて、「秘密基地」をつくったりして遊びました。南東に隣接する「上野」さんの敷地には、周りを掘り下げた「野井戸」があり、今も「地下水」がコンコンと湧き出ています。保育所の敷地の南西隅には、高い「翌檜（ああすなろ）」の木がそびえていて、隣の「浄流寺」境内の大きな「銀杏（いちょう）」と並んで、「宮田村」のシンボルとなっていて、阿武野小学校からの下校の時には、目印になっていました。
秋には、二本の木の落葉が集落に降り注いでいました、
