my mother was turned away for treatment on january 5th 2020 because ahe did not speak japanese, DO NOT go to this clinic on a Sunday or holiday if you are not a native speaker.

Very expat friendly, they had an available translator through Skype call at reception. They put us through the emergency as the normal doctor hours were finished. The doctor was speaking very good english, examined and prescribed medication. The whole process took 2 hours. Would recommend this to any English speaking patients.

This is a medium sized, busy hospital close to Kyoto Station. Helpful staff, especially the English interpreter, who stayed with me from check in, to doctor visit, to payment. An experi dermatologist treated my ailment efficiently and with kindness. Very clear instructions on medications and after care. This hospital takes credit cards. Fees were reasonable. Convenient pharmacy next to hospital, offers written instructionc for meds in English.

Read the reviews left by patients who came to this hospital and every word was accurate. This was the only 24 hour hospital open and the translator was externally efficient.! The only drawback is that it took about 2 hours although there wasn’t a big line of patients. But overall, if you are a tourist, this could be one of the few the hospital to visit for an emergency.

After being referred to this hospital by our health insurance provider my wife was refused service because she didn't speak Japanese. The hospitals website claims to provide english speaking services for foreigners, but it's just not true. In fact my son (who was with us at the time) speaks Japanese and offered to translate, but we were still refused. This was incredibly frustrating at a time when my wife was needing medical care.

Medium size hos.. came as this is recommended as one of the English speaking hos. But actually the staff do not speak English. They have an English interpreter during 9-5 usually on weekdays who is v helpful and patiently translate for us almost all the way . Only a handful of staff know a little English. Luckily the surgeon for my husband gallbladder removal ‘s English is decent.. nurses are friendly so the stay was ok. Place is no way top notch like overseas private hospital , the place feel more like a government hospital with basic facilities and small rooms .. and the place is kinda old and not very well maintained feel.. prepare to wait and wait. If realli emergency for foreigner, someone advise us to call 119 as English speaking available and will be faster . Walk-in visit is a slow wait and unpleasant experience if one is in great pain n uncomfort..

My uncle had an infection in his finger. We went to the hospital on a Monday at 16.00. Service was excellent, we got an interpreter and she helped us with all forms and questions. One hour later we were out of the hospital with the finger drained. Total cost 30 000 yen, which we found very reasonable for this treatment. The hospital also wrote a statement that we can use to claim back the expenses from our insurance once we get home.

Terrible!! The worst hospital ever find. My husband has 39.5 temperature and he feels really bad since yesterday. They refused to visit him telling us to go in a Pharmacy. Worst experience ever. We come from another country where something like that will never happen a tourist!
