★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 播磨国の大名池田輝澄がお家騒動の責を受けて寛永17年から寛文2年(1640年～1662年)までの22年間、鹿野に謫居(たっきょ)しました。
館を築き庭園を造り、家族と一緒に37歳から59歳までの間でした。
｢光輪寺」はお住まいの館跡の敷地を受け継いで建立されました。
旧鹿野城の西麓を借景としたツツジ庭園は有名です。自然豊かな四季薫る鹿野は正に｢光輪寺」を指しています。
20191005 午後本殿前に立ちました。すると婦人が手の中に新聞紙と線香、ろうそくを持って寺門をくぐり抜け、墓地内の水道からバケツに水を汲んでお墓参りをされました。
流れるような一つの動作、日常生活の一部分としての動作でしかも美しさが潜んでいます。
門を出ると直ぐに、寺門前で待ち合わせをしている女子中学生と目があいました。｢さようなら~」と中学生が声を掛けてくれました。
どうしてか鹿野城下での体験は夢を見ているような心地よさです。
