History
The date of foundation is unknown, and the oldest record is the establishment of the shrine in April 1727 (Kyoho, Edo period 1727). According to the interrogation document submitted to the prefecture at the beginning of the Meiji era, it was said to have been settled in the area of Hikoo Hinoo (Minamiyama). It is said that the head office was rebuilt in the 7th year of Genroku in the Edo period. However, there is no evidence from the eternal natural disaster. This land has many mounds since ancient times and was called Oana Township (Ohona / Taana / Oana). There was a large tumulus at the stone steps in the precincts. Therefore, the name was changed to Kodaiana Shrine.

Sculpture
The sculpture of the worship hall is made by Kashiro Tachikawa, a disciple of Tomimasa, Bunshiro Ikeda (later known as Tachikawa). On the front rainbow beams, there are lions and dragons who are good at Tachikawa style, and on the sides are legendary sake-doji children, cranes, turtles, and staggering sculptures. The main shrine also has sculptures such as dragons, cranes, and peony.
