K	K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉時代の初期に、源頼朝が安達盛長に命じて創建させたと伝わる寺院です。現存する「弥陀堂」は、鎌倉時代中期の建立だと考えられているようです。正面だけでなく、片方の側面に庇が出ている、左右非対称の檜皮葺の美しいお堂で、いつまでも見ていられます。 200円納めると、弥陀堂内に入堂できます。内部には、美しい阿弥陀三尊が安置してあって、神秘的な空間をつくりだしています。自分が是非見てほしいと思ったのは、内部の天井で、細かい格子状の折上格天井になっています。また、正面には蔀戸がしつらえてあって、格式の高さがうかがえます。弥陀堂のうしろの高台から、全景を見ることもできます。御朱印をいただくことができますが、その種類が多くて、どれにするか迷います（笑） It is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo ordered Adachi Morinaga to build this temple in the early Kamakura period.
