ここは観光的なお寺ではなく、普通のお寺なので一般の方は入らないほうがいいです。
近所にはお龍（坂本龍馬妻）さんのお父さんが勤皇の志士を支援して、収監された跡地があり、その横には龍馬とお龍がお父さんの様子をうかがう為に訪れたと言われる神社もあります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大宮通六角を西に行った北側にあるのが浄土宗西山禅林寺派の寺院になります。
非公開寺院のため普段は入れませんが今回、よやくしたコロナワクチン三回目の接種会場になっていたため、本堂に入れてご本尊の前でのワクチン接種で何とも言えない感じがしました。
