以前は泉北高速鉄道の終点駅でしたが、和泉中央へ延伸されました。
ファインプラザや障がい者職業能力開発校、リハビリセンター等大阪府や堺市の福祉施設が集中しているせいかバリアフリーには特に気を使われてるイメージがありますね。
近年ＵＲ団地の住民高齢化などもあってこのあたりに住む人が減っているのも理由なのかテナントがどんどん撤退しているため、少々寂れ気味になってると思います。

It used to be the terminal station of the Semboku Rapid Railway, but it has been extended to the center of Izumi.
There is an image that barrier-free is especially paid attention to because welfare facilities in Osaka Prefecture and Sakai City such as Fine Plaza, Vocational Ability Development School for Persons with Disabilities, and Rehabilitation Center are concentrated.
I think I'm feeling a little lonely because the tenants are steadily withdrawing, probably because the number of people living in this area is decreasing due to the aging of the residents of the UR housing complex in recent years.

Everyone living in Senboku New Town is one of the stations that are often used for commuting to Osaka city.

セブンイレブンが入口にあるため便利。
最近、モスバーガーが出来たので、大好きなので有り難い。
トイレは清潔だが多分ウォシュレットがなかったはず。また、便座が冷たいのも不便で冬場座るときに度胸がいる。
泉北高速鉄道自体、運賃がバカ高いので、もっと安くならないものか？
The station staff is polite.
Convenient because Seven-Eleven is at the entrance.
Recently, I made Mos Burger, so I'm grateful that I love it.
The toilet is clean but probably no washlet. Also, it is inconvenient that the toilet seat is cold, and I feel courageous when I sit down in winter.
The fare of the Semboku Rapid Railway itself is stupid, so isn't it cheaper?

改札目の前のコンビニや、直結のサンピアなどのショッピングモールなどで便利な駅です。
改札前に証明撮影機もあります。

It is a convenient station for convenience stores in front of the ticket gates and shopping malls such as Sunpia, which is directly connected to the ticket gates.
There is also a certification camera before the ticket gate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an old station but staff at station is aleays nice and informative and willing to help. Directions are clear since there is not a lot of train lines. It is never crowded with people. The athmosphere is relaxing and serene. Beautiful flowers blossoming everywhere around the station in early spring time around the month of april. Nearby is the infamous Osaka Boshi Medical Center, the Women and Children Hospital. The downside is that the restaurants, other than McD and Mister Donuts, in nearby building only open at 5pm.
