滝自体は撮影時水量が少なく、近くの砂防堰堤の方が良い感じなのが何とも。 秘境度3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 手前にあるのが吉堀の滝で、奥にあるのが牛堀の滝です。
牛堀の滝は一旦川面に降り、さかのぼらないとよく見えません。
Yoshibori Falls is in the foreground, and Ushibori Falls is in the back.
Ushibori Falls cannot be seen well unless it descends to the surface of the river and goes back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 吉堀の滝の存在はすぐに分かりましたが、牛堀の滝が分からず、探して奥地の堰まで歩いてしまいました。
人工的な砂防ダムの隣の滑滝が牛堀の滝でした。
地元のボランティアの方が一生懸命紅葉を植えていているようですけど、まだ木が小さくて日当たりが良くない場所は色づきもいまひとつでしたが、５～10年後が楽しみかも。道はあるけど細くて車で行くのは勇気がいります。
なお、牛堀という名前の滝は国本地区のほかに、大福山（梅ヶ瀬）にも存在します。（梅ヶ瀬 牛堀の滝）
I knew the existence of Yoshibori Falls immediately, but I couldn't find Ushibori Falls, so I searched for it and walked to the weir in the hinterland.
The waterfall next to the artificial sabo dam was Ushibori Falls.
It seems that local volunteers are planting autumn leaves hard, but the colors are not good in places where the trees are still small and not sunny, but I may be looking forward to 5 to 10 years from now. There is a road, but it is narrow and it takes courage to go by car.
A waterfall named Ushibori exists not only in the Kunimoto area but also in Daifukuyama (Umegase). (Umegase Ushibori Falls)
