★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山形市上桜田にある曹洞宗寺院です。御本尊は釈迦牟尼仏。大永～享禄の頃（1521～1532）、平清水耕龍寺 威州宗虎大和尚の開山によると伝えられます。境内はよく整備されており、また高台にあるため山形市街を一望できます。
有り難く、山形百八地蔵尊18番霊場の御朱印を頂きました。墨書きは、”南無釈迦牟尼佛”です。
It is a Soto sect temple in Kamisakurada, Yamagata city. The principal image is Shakyamuni Buddha. It is said that it was due to the opening of Mt. The precincts are well maintained and on a hill, you can overlook the city of Yamagata.
