ご本尊に文化財指定の薬師如来様はじめ、四天王や十二神将等の仏様が多数安置されています。
同じく本堂内には、隣接する杵築神社に祀られていたとされる牛頭天王像も秘仏としてお祀りされています。
毎月、護摩法要を行っているとの事です。
It is a temple of the Shingon sect Omuro school, which is said to be Prince Shotoku Kaisan.
Many Buddhas such as the four heavenly kings and the twelve gods are enshrined in the principal image, including Yakushi Nyorai, who is designated as a cultural property.
Similarly, in the main hall, the statue of Gozu Tenno, which is said to have been enshrined at the adjacent Kuchitsuki Shrine, is also enshrined as a secret Buddha.
It is said that the Homa memorial service is held every month.
