 It is a venerable temple. As is often the case ... there are guardian dogs in the temple ... these are the cute guardian dogs.

地域全体が見るからに訳ありで…（笑）
お堀跡のようだったり、彫刻が素晴らしくうっすら残った色彩も復元したら素晴らしいだろうとワクワクしました。
I like old temples and I am walking around, but I was very moved.

I was thrilled that it would be wonderful to restore the colors that looked like moats and the sculptures were still brilliant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建物の年期度は歴史の重みを感じました。道路沿いには灯籠が並び立ち迷う事は無いと思います。住職が本日不在との事にて御朱印は書置きとなりました。
I felt the weight of history in the age of the building. I don't think you'll get lost in the lanterns lined up along the road. The priest is absent today, so the red stamp has been written down.

It is said that Sakanoue no Tamura Maro, who came to this area to conquer Ezo, founded Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and it is an old temple that is named alongside Japan's three major Shimizu along with Shimizu in Kyoto and Harima ❗️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「きよみずでら」と読みます。山門がとても立派です。昭和２年に建てられたということで造作もはっきりしています。山門の２階に上がれるというのはめったにありません。花巻の財界の支援が厚いお寺のようです。天台寺門宗のお寺で、坂上田村麻呂が十一面観音を安置したのが始まりとされているそうです。
I read "Kiyomizudera". The mountain gate is very good. The work is clear because it was built in 1927. Rarely can you go up to the second floor of the mountain gate. It is like a temple with the support of the Hanamaki business community. It is said that this is the beginning of Tendaiji Monshoji's temple, where Maro Sakauedamura laid down the eleven-sided Kannon.
