★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山号を不退山と号し、宝永年間(1704～1711年)に創立された日蓮宗・小西法縁の寺院ですが、日蓮宗大観には、開山が日顕で、元応元(1319)年2月の創立と記されています。小西名鑑には、明治44(1911)年以降に本蓮寺・本光寺・南光寺を合併と記されています。門柱西側に広い駐車スペースあります。
 It is a temple of the Nichiren sect and Konishi Hoshin, which was founded during the Hoei period (1704-1711), but the mountain was named Nikan, and the temple was founded in the Honin period (1704-1711). It is marked as the foundation of the moon. Konishi Directory has stated that it merged with Honrenji Temple, Honkoji Temple and Nankoji Temple after 1911. There is a large parking space on the west side of the gatepost.
