S	S W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建年は不明。場所は光が丘駅近く、光が丘団地すぐ側に残された古そうな街道沿いにあります。その街道も光が丘団地(旧米軍グランドキャンプ)によって南北どちらもぶった切られてポツンと一部が残っている感じになっていますが、なんとなく神社前は旧道というか古道の雰囲気があります。そして社殿は光が丘団地側の大きな通りに面しているにも関わらず、その団地に背を向け古い街道の方に参道を向けているのが往時を偲ばせてくれます。御朱印は西武新宿線鷺ノ宮駅近く、鷺宮八幡神社で拝受可能。鷺宮八幡神社の宮司さんから聞いた話ですが…なぜ光が丘の神社の本務社が鷺宮八幡神社なのというと、昔、この辺りの村人達が、鷺宮八幡神社で開かれていた寺子屋に勉強をしに来ていて、その関係から当時の宮司さんに自分達の氏神の管理をお願いしたのが始まりなんだそうです。同じく田柄に鎮座する天祖神社や愛宕神社、少し離れた春日町の春日神社も同じような理由で鷺宮八幡神社が本務社となっているそうな。江戸時代、鷺宮八幡神社の宮司さんがお守りを授与するために朝早くから田柄辺りの氏子さん宅を訪問したが、不在だったので諦め、ほぼ一日を無駄にしてしまった…という話も残っているそうです。 The year of foundation is unknown.
