Had to get a friend from Japan to help us make a reservation here as seating is limited. The beef is well marbled and food is cooked for us, in front of us. We had the yakiniku and soup/broth style sets. The beef melts in your mouth and is really soft. Staff is really polite and nice and the decor is unlike any restaurant I have been to. We walked along a stone path above a little bit of water to get to our table. As you'd probably expect, this place charges a premium but I'm really happy I went.

The staff were kind enough to squeeze us in between reservations as we did not have a booking. The dining was a little rushed as a result but we knew we were on the clock and were glad to just get in! We had Sukiyaki in our own private tatami dining room. The lady looking after us was so lovely and attentive. There was a bit of a language barrier as neither of us spoke the other's language but we managed fine. Beef was beautiful and melted in your mouth. A little bit pricey but a great experience and definitely recommend!

Very fine and delicate dining place, the staffs are enthusiastic and well mannered, however the food is a little bit overrated. I hardly see any local people dine here.

Sukiyaki in private tatami room with hori-gotatsu, so as to dine in comfort for those who don't seiza-sit. The local wagyu was generously sliced, pretty thick and marbled. Four slices per person which initially seem little, but by fourth slice, it is just suffice. Kitamura Kansai-styled sukiyaki is not cooked with a soup base, instead the meat is lightly cooked first and then simmered with soy sauce, sugar and sake. Some vegetable and shirataki followed. The cooked beef is then dipped into raw eggs to be eaten. Simply delicious!

It is the osaka sukiyaki style with the melt in the mouth A5 wagyu grade. Never been to sukiyaki place where offers this thick of meat, but so melty and soft. The dinner course 9,800 yen and serve with appetizer and all you can eat rice and green tea. There are 4 pieces of mable wagyu for each course. The staff is so nice and will do everything for you from the beginning till you end your meal. She will serve you in order > meat > conyuk > onion > green veggie > green onion > and repeat. This is so neat.
