★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岸和田には近代銀行建築がかなり残っているが、ここもその一つ。１９２１（大正１０）年に、設立された岸和田貯蓄銀行が、１９３５（昭和１０）年に建てたのが今の建物。巨大な半円アーチが３つ並んだファサードとスクラッチタイルが特徴的。昭和３０年頃から岸和田中央会館として利用されており、現在は「かじやまち」（岸和田中央商業協同組合）の事務所兼店舗として使われている。
銀行建築は大抵の場合左右対称に作られるが、この建物は玄関が中央になく、向かって右側によっているというのが特徴。
Kishiwada still has a lot of modern bank architecture, but this is one of them. The current building was built in 1935 by Kishiwada Savings Bank, which was established in 1921. It features a facade with three huge semi-circular arches and scratch tiles. It has been used as the Kishiwada Central Hall since about 1955, and is now used as the office and store of "Kajiyamachi" (Kishiwada Central Commercial Cooperative).
Bank buildings are usually made symmetrically, but this building is characterized by the fact that the entrance is not in the center and is on the right side.
