「２０１９年に行くべき５２カ所」を発表し、
７位に「瀬戸内の島々」が選出されています。
同紙は瀬戸内海と沿岸地域を「日本の内海にある芸術と自然の調和」と表現。
世界に認められる景色が一望できるこの橋。
晴れた日に、岡山からトンネルを抜けて広がる世界7位の景色は、なかなか他では味わえません。
日本人ならば、必ず見ておきたい景色が、この橋からは見られます。
この景色を見るためだけに、岡山、香川間を行き来するのも良いかもしれません。

ただ昼間に旅客船で橋をくぐる航路が少ないのが残念。
