On the Kibinakayama trekking route. Under the eaves of the temple, I took a rest with the rice balls I brought for lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ GoogleMapで案内をしてもらうとかなり離れた場所で「到着」と...そこからは徒歩で坂道を登ります。岡山県古代吉備文化センターの駐車場の入口手前の山側のモルタルの階段が登り口です。平たい丘になっている所に案内板があります。八徳寺はここからさらに、やや不安になるほど歩くと、木の案内表示があります。そこまでは八徳寺が下手に見えながらも道が分からず不安になります。八徳寺境内はとても良い気配です。辺鄙な場所に在りながら荒れてはいません。鄙びた良いお寺さんです。ここからの戻り道に赤い前掛けのお地蔵さんが多数あります。
このことに早く気がついていれば良い道案内になったのかも知れまぜん。ハイキングで訪れる方も少なからす居られるようです。
When I was guided by Google Map, I said "arrival" at a very distant place ... From there, I climbed the slope on foot. The mortar stairs on the mountain side in front of the entrance of the parking lot of the Okayama Prefectural Ancient Kibi Cultural Center is the entrance. There is an information board on a flat hill. If you walk further from here to Hachitokuji, you will see a wooden guide sign. Up to that point, even though Hachitokuji looks bad, I'm worried because I don't know the way. The precincts of Hachitokuji are very good. Although it is in a remote place, it is not rough. It's a good temple. There are many Jizo statues with red apron on the way back from here.
It may have been a good guide if I noticed this early. It seems that few people come by hiking.
