It is a station on the JR Joban Line. It is located between Kashiwa Station and Abiko Station. Only local trains that directly connect to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line will stop. It is the closest station to Chiba Prefectural Kashiwa High School.

It's quite cheap even within a 10-minute walk from the station. ・ You can sit on the train first You can sit even during the morning commute. People in a hurry from Toride to Abiko get on the rapid train, and local trains that stop at Kitakashiwa also come every 3 to 5 minutes from 7:00 to 8:00. It is crowded at each stop from the next station, Kashiwa. I've never been unable to sit down. ・ There is a lot of nature There is Teganuma nearby. It used to be said that it was the dirtiest in Japan, but now I don't have that image. At the bicycle parking lot at the south exit of Kita-Kashiwa Station, you can rent a bicycle (about 200 yen a day), go around Teganuma, buy vegetables at Michi-no-Eki Shonan, and eat shaved ice at Yoshioka Sabo. Road Station Shonan has a large parking lot and abundant vegetables, so it is recommended to drive. ・ 30 minutes to Kitasenju, 50 minutes to Otemachi This is a value, but if you can sit down, this time doesn't really bother you. A slightly inconvenient station that only stops at each station (Chiyoda Line). This station is the closest station to Jikei University Kashiwa Hospital. There is a bus to the hospital, but you can walk in about 10 minutes. The strange thing is that when the train arrives at the station, the bus often just departs, and the connection between the train and the bus is poor (reason for lowering the rating). One of the things to note about Kashiwa is Kita-Kashiwa Station! It's a rare station in Japan. It is not a pedestrian bridge that straddles National Highway No. 6, but a recce station building. It seems that it is not well known as a station that crosses the national highway, and one day a speed detector was attached to the downward wall of the station building and I was surprised!
