★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the food hall on the B1 level of the Takashimaya department store. An elegantly displayed but minute selection of premium flavours to choose from, with a premium price tag to match.
The sales rep said the number one flavour was the "volcanic chocolate" from Papua New Guinea. At ¥450 for a single finger, I opted to take my taste buds elsewhere to satisfy my KitKat craving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is small but has really nice flavors. My favorite are the fruit flavor pack. It comes with passion fruit, strawberry, Yuzu, Blueberry and raspberry. It’s 10 single piece individually wrapped. The flavor of the fruits is fresh and not artificial. It is definitely on the pricey side but I recommend trying it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced and very limited in selection. Do yourself a favor and go to a local Don Quijote. They have multiple flavors for reasonable prices.
If you want a "rare" flavor, Chocolatory is the place, but if you want some cheaper flavors (and selection) go to Don Quijote.. They are in most every msjof city. Plus they are a lot of fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store was smaller than expected but they had some higher quality Kit Kats and unique flavors that you cannot get anywhere else. If you love Kit Kats I highly recommend but I would not spend as much time looking for this place as I did. Really more of a Dept counter in store than store it's self.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One thing Japanese people do so much better than anyone else (in my opinion) is how they elevate desserts and sweets to the next level. They even make a simple snack, KitKat to something fancy and elegant! We went to visit one of their KitKat “Chocolatory” locations in Tokyo.
The store was decorated like some kind of expensive boutique store. It didn’t look like a store that sells “snack” that you can buy at a convenient store. It screamed some thing that is more decadent and fancy.
They have all sorts of amazing selection of KitKat, made only in Japan! I wonder why they can’t be made available everywhere…or at least in the USA. But then again, that exclusivity is another thing that makes this shop so desirable.
They had several boxes of special selections, and we decided to get a sample box called Special Series. The flavors in this selection are: Pistachio & Raspberry, Strawberry Maple, Butter, and Green Tea & Kinako. Very interesting indeed. They were all very tasty, high quality and delicious. They are always coming up with more interesting flavors, so it will be fun to go back and try some other fancy KitKat in the future. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We searched far and wide for this elusive shop only to find a small stand within a much larger food court. Maybe I’m just used to kit kats being an impulse purchase in the grocery store checkout, but this is way fancier and way more expensive. I’m curious what makes a wasabi or apple flavored kit kat worth so much more than your average one in the US, but the people I was with seemed to think they make good souvenirs for coworkers...
