★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice caffe. Morning set cost from ¥500~, including salad, boiled egg, yogurt , toast and choice of drink. Good atmosphere, very calm.
Menu has photo, far as I know there is no English menu, but staff speak English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee shop where you can have a Nagoya-style breakfast. Although it is a home-roasted coffee shop, it looks like it is rare to handle coffee beans from several other shops in Nagoya. Toasts, boiled eggs, salads and yogurt can be eaten free with coffee. There are sandwiches, curries and ice cream. WiFi, Charge free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a nice place to have breakfast. It was so relaxing to enjoy breakfast and coffee from the second floor watching the people go by. It was a nice time. The staff are super kind and fun to talk with.

Home roasted coffee available though morning set comes with a strong "Nagoya kissaten" aroma and taste.
Morning set is a bit pricey IMHO.
Service is pro and place is super clean.
The big TV screen on the 1st floor (upstairs) doesn't match the place design instead of cozy music.
On the ground floor there is a great variety of home roasted coffee beans. I will make sure taste these next time instead of the morning coarse black cuppa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can have breakfast all day here. My kids don't care about cafés in general, but this one seemed to hit the spot for them. When the boiled eggs were served with eyes, they started giggling.
The wait time went by quickly as we competed to see who could take the scariest picture of the egg character staring at us through the window.
The atmosphere was great. I would like to come back here sometime. The building reminded me of my grandma's house back in the Showa time, with steep stairs and wooden structures. The stairs are really steep, so you may need to be a little careful.
The food was also delicious. Personally, I was happy to see ginger ale served in a bottle. I would like to use this place again when I stop by nearby.
