最後に伺ったのは渡米する前。もう何年も前になる。建物の設が素晴らしく、茶室となっている個室はなんとも心落ち着く空間。お料理もしっかりと丁寧な仕事ぶりが伺える。ご主人の人柄が伝わってくるかのような仕事ぶりだ。大女将さんの語り口調・雰囲気は、今この時代に置いて、なかなか接する事の出来ない存在だろう。おおらかさ・気配り・立ち振舞いとなんとも私好みである。
The last time I visited was before I went to the United States. It's been many years ago. The building is wonderfully set up, and the private room, which is a tea room, is a relaxing space. You can see how well the food is done and how it works. It's a job that seems to convey the personality of the husband. The tone and atmosphere of the landlady's narrative is something that cannot be easily touched in this era. Easygoing, attentiveness, and standing behavior are my favorite.

三回目来店。ほんとにお料理全部美味しくいただけました。ちょうちんというお酒ぴりっと辛口で美味しかったです。風の森もおすすめのお酒(奈良のお酒)です。 ハモが一番美味しかったかな。 2月のフグ?も美味しかった~。とにかく、毎回大満足です!!

ランチの利用です。 日替わりメニューのみ1200円です。 きちんと作られた割烹料理で、煮物の炊き具合が絶妙です。 メインの味が強い事が多く、ご飯のおかずとしては正解だと思いますが、それ以外の料理とのバランスを考えると、少し勿体ないと思う事があります。 ですが、この値段で、この内容はお得です。 時間帯によっては、提供までに時間がかかる事がありますので、昼食時間に割ける時間が少ない方はご注意を。 ご主人も奥様もとても丁寧で好感の持てる接客です。

東中野から小滝橋方面へ、会席料理の岸由さんでお昼の御前をいただきました。 シンプルなもの一つ一つ丁寧に作られていて美味しい。 また、夜の時間帯や季節が変わるごとに食べに行きたいと思います。 店主と奥さまも感じがよく、忙しない日々を送っていたのでゆっくりでき美味しい食事で癒されました。 ありがとうございました。
From Higashi-Nakano to Otakibashi, we had lunch with Mr. Kishiyoshi, a kaiseki meal. Each simple item is carefully made and delicious. Also, I would like to go to eat every time the night time and the season change. The owner and his wife also felt good, and I was not busy, so I was able to relax and heal with a delicious meal. Thank you very much.

ランチをいただきました。1300円でこのクオリティーが食べれるのが感動です。 煮物も魚も汁物も、すべて美味しく、一瞬で無くなりました。 日本酒もおすすめがあるようなので今度はそれを目当てに合う料理を体験したいです。

This wasn’t a just a meal, it was a true culinary experience, in the traditional Japanese way. The restaurant is family owned and run by a couple who present so dignified, but at the same time are so warm and down to earth. We learned that they have been at this location for almost two decades, preferring to stay small, authentic and local. We also leaned that Chief is not so local; despite his desire to keep things simple and humble. He in fact was often flown to the Japanese embassy in Cuba to serve as Head chef when Fidel Castro would visit. This is because he learned under a top Master and is now a Master in his own right. This is a Chief and a meal at the celebrity Chief level, but he prefers to keep it small and true. This restaurant is a no-brainer. Truly one of our most memorable experiences in Japan thus far. Enjoy!!
