再建時の設計図（ネットで閲覧可）には、単層木造建の小屋になっておりますが、工事中に手っ取り早いRC造に変更したのは百歩譲っても、その当初の小屋に、そのまま二層目を付け足した「魔改造」で、これまでも存在しない小天守として改悪されたのが、何とも呆れますね。
二層目盛ろう言うた奴、一体誰やねん！（心の声がw）
二層目に窓があっても、実際入口には閉塞感に満ちた天井があるので、明かり窓として造られた訳でもなく、容易に行けそうにも無い所が「魔改造」たる所以でしょうか。
正保城絵図（幕府に提出する見取り図）によると、小天守すら描かれておらず、簡素な壁か、単層の土間の様な小屋があった程度ではないかと思われます。
間近の東二層隅櫓を小天守として改悪された感もありますね。

According to the Shoho Castle picture (a sketch submitted to the Shogunate), even a small castle tower was not drawn, and it seems that there was a simple wall or a hut like a single-story dirt floor.
There is also a feeling that the upcoming eastern two-story corner tower has been aggravated as a small castle tower.
