Self-service and free tea is available both cold and hot, and you can enjoy a variety of scented teas. I also got a dark tea affogato, but it's really strong! It's very bitter, but the sweetness of the bean paste and ice cream stands out and the aftertaste is refreshing.
y	yoko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 『お抹茶セット』を注文。ワッフル(岡部・天竜・ほうじ茶の中から一つ)を選び２階のイートインスペースへ。座敷とテーブル席があり、カウンターには無料で飲み比べができるお茶(温かいお茶と冷茶)が置かれています。ここで飲んだお茶は、１階で購入することができ、入れ方など店主の方が親切に教えてくれました。また行きたいです。駐車場はお店の隣りに５台、置けます。 I ordered "Matcha set". Choose a waffle (one from Okabe, Tenryu, Hojicha) and go to the eat-in space on the 2nd floor. There are tatami mats and table seats, and the counter has tea (hot and cold tea) that you can drink and compare for free. The tea I drank here can be purchased on the first floor, and the owner kindly taught me how to make it. I want to go again. There are 5 parking lots next to the shop.

They sell a heavenly selection of chaffles: ocha (aka green tea) waffles, and you can take them or other treats such as ice cream upstairs to eat. The second floor has a beautiful tatami area and also standard tables to sit at, and you are provided with assorted green teas to serve yourself and drink for free. The staff are always very friendly and polite, and everything I've tasted has been delicious. The owner won the green tea champion award on a Japanese tv programme called TV Champions, and I can see why. We've spoken with him several times too, and he's always been very kind and helpful. The first floor also sells many types of green tea and tea-related items, besides the fresh chaffles and desserts. I often buy souvenirs from here for family and friends before we make a visit back to my home country.

The 600yen option contained sweet bean paste, matcha jelly, and a ball of vanilla ice cream underneath the generous helping of matcha syrup-infused shaved ice I'm sure it gives you a nice caffeine hit, too. They have a wide selection of hot and cold tea to sample upstairs, and they sell a large variety of traditional tea, plus some Japanese black tea.
