★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better Thai /Laos restaurants. Good food made my Thai/laotians. Nice spot by river. Book ahead to reserve a window spot. Food comes already good spice level for a chilli lover. Although can feast and easily spend ¥10000 on a few dishes and drinks. But, we have tried many Thai restaurants in last two years living in Kyoto and with a wife who was born in Thailand, there is a reason we return to this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to have their lunch set today. Nice environment, river side view, definitely a big plus. Portion consider normal Japanese size, personally the taste tend to be somewhat like Japanese as well.
Overall, it’s a not bad choice if you crave for Thai food, especially for foreigner students who spend a long time in japan and miss their hometown food.
Lunch set price range from JYP950- JYP1990

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very tasty. Price is great. They have 3 vegetarian lunch sets. According to them, no fish sauce used. One dish is fried, so probably in the same oil as meat. I got some allergic reactions. Also, the servers get annoyed whenever I ask for the vegetarian menu (all 5 times I've been there). & grumpy when I check bout fish sauce. (Servers have changed and are nice now!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I knew this place for long and it was okay and friendly before Covid.
However, when I went last week they treated me very rudely. Despite booking many days in advance and mentioning carefully that I am vegan, the chef came at our table and complained to me that they are not a vegan restaurant.
Moreover, they tried to get rid of us when we ordered desserts, pretending people are waiting while it wasn't the case. My Japanese friend who I invited on that evening was furious when this happened.
The food was okay, but this way to treat customers is unacceptable.
I will never go there anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location and view from this second floor place are outstanding. I really like bats and if you are there at dusk you can watch them feeding just a few feet from the windows facing the river.
The food was good quality and quite tasty - although not quite as spicy as I like my Thai food. Menu is in Thai, Japanese and English. Prices are mid-range and a wide variety of dishes are featured. There are even a few set menu options.
Service was attentive and food was served fairly quickly.
