★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 車1台ずつしか通れないせまいあぜ道沿いにあり、訪問時注意。梵字はかすれて読めませんが、そばの馬頭観音碑は字が鮮明。周辺には様々な碑が道端にあります、散策してみては。
There is only one car on each side of the narrow road, so be careful when visiting. The Sanskrit is faint and unreadable, but the horse head Kannon monument near is clear. There are various monuments around the road, so take a walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 弘安8年(1285)に建てられた、泉区最古の石碑。
昭和38年の土地改良事業に伴い、以前より北方200m程の現在の場所に移された(車屋敷→君が代)。
碑面には梵字のバク(釈迦如来)と刻まれている。
この地域では昔から「しばり地蔵」とも呼ばれ、かつて子供の難病であった百日咳にかかった時、稲藁でこの碑を縛り、病気が治るよう祈願した。治った時にはお礼として粉もちをつくり、お供えした。
The oldest stone monument in Izumi Ward, built in 1285 in Koan.
With the land improvement project in 1963, it was moved to the present location about 200m northward (Kurashiki → Kimigayo).
The inscription is engraved with a Sanskrit character Baku (Shaka Nyorai).
Also known as "Shibari Jizo" in this area from olden times, when a child suffered from pertussis, which was an incurable disease, he tied this monument with rice straw and prayed that the disease would be cured. When he was healed, he made flour rice cake as a thank-you gift.
