もう40年位前の小学生の頃は魚が嫌いで、寿司なんてもってのほかでした。そんな魚が嫌いな私でも不思議と菊水のお寿司だけは問題なく食べることができました。おそらく魚の棚も目の前にありますし、新鮮だったのでしょうね。
もちろん昔から高級な寿司屋（そもそも寿司屋はどこも高級だった）だったので法事などの時だけではありますが、子供ながらに菊水に行くことを楽しみにしていたものです。駅からも歩いて行けるので法事などにも適していたのでここだったのでしょう。
今でも帰郷したときに時々訪れますが昔のまま美味しいお寿司を頂けます。これからも頑張ってください。
I think it's a famous sushi restaurant with a long history.
When I was in elementary school about 40 years ago, I hated fish, and I didn't even have sushi. Even though I don't like such fish, mysteriously, I was able to eat only Kikusui sushi without any problems. Perhaps the fish shelf is right in front of me and it was fresh.
Of course, it has always been a high-class sushi restaurant (all sushi restaurants were high-class in the first place), so I was looking forward to going to Kikusui as a child, although it was only for ceremonial occasions. It was probably here because it was suitable for legal affairs because it was within walking distance from the station.
Even now, I sometimes visit when I return home, but I can enjoy delicious sushi as before. Please keep doing a good job.
