★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い駐車場がありお土産屋さんが3軒ほどある。お店の前の「長生き鶴亀茶」は飲みやすく無料です。
3杯飲むと「死ぬまで生きる！」そうです…微妙
菅野高原は夏はキャンプをしたり、バーベキューをする家族連れが多いです。
晴れた日は青森市内が見え周りの山々も見渡せる良い場所です。
観光シーズンの土日は駐車場が満車になる事があります。これから紅葉が始まると観光バスがたくさん通行して奥入瀬渓谷に行くお客さんがたくさんになります。 自家用車だと渋滞にはまるし駐車場が満車になる事が多いです。この高原の駐車場にある公共トイレは和式のボットンです(汗)
お茶屋さんのトイレは食事客しか使えないと書いてありますので注意。
There is a large parking lot and about 3 souvenir shops. In front of the store, “Nagai Tsurugamecha” is easy to drink and free.
If you drink 3 cups, you will live until you die!
The Hadano Kogen has many families who camp and barbecue in summer.
On a clear day, it is a good place to see Aomori city and the surrounding mountains.
The parking lot may fill up on weekends during the tourist season. When the autumn leaves begin, there will be many tourist buses going to the Oirase Valley. If it is a private car, it often gets stuck in traffic and the parking lot is full. The public toilet in this highland parking lot is a Japanese-style botton (sweat)
Note that the tea room toilet is written only for dining guests.

2021.5、緑が広がってます。ここから見える八甲田山は綺麗だ。
In the middle of 2021.10, I could see it burnt in the setting sun.
2021.5, the green is spreading. Hakkoda Mountain seen from here is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私は八戸住まいだが、青森へ行くときは、有料道路を使いたくないので、いつも（冬でも可能なときには）八甲田越えをする。冬季以外は国道102号から県道40号で増沢を抜け田代十文字（冬季は102号を焼山で103号に乗り換え、谷地温泉前で394号を田代十文字に向かう）又兵衛茶屋前を通過、銅像茶屋前で左折、火箱沢道経由で103号に出て北に進路をとればすぐに萱野高原だ。必要があればここで一休み。
萱野高原は本当に気持ちの良いところだ。八甲田を背景に草原と、ところどころに残されているシナノキの姿が実に良い。眺めて居るだけで心が落ち着く。
I live in Hachinohe, but when I go to Aomori, I don't want to use the toll road, so I always cross Hakkoda (when possible even in winter). Except in winter, take Route 102 to Prefectural Road 40 through Masuzawa and pass Tashiro Jumonji (in winter, change No. 102 to No. 103 at Yakeyama and head for Tashiro Jumonji on No. 394 in front of Yachi Onsen). Turn left at No. 103 via Hibakozawa Road and take the north route to Kayano Kogen. Take a break here if needed.
Kayano Kogen is a really pleasant place. The grasslands with Hakkoda in the background and the lindens left here and there are really nice. Just looking at it calms my mind.
