ホームで一人で待っていると、いつの間にか
乗車客がたくさん。
意外に混みます。
このホームでタバコを吸うのが気持ちよかったです。

待合室は改札隣とホームにもあり、エレベーターも設置されてます。
トイレは改札内のみです。

The toilet is only inside the ticket gate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新幹線の高架下に駅舎があり、騒音がひどいときがあるが、日中は静かな駅。川中島古戦場は有名だが駅付近には、歴史的な遺産はない。川中島駅は快速もとまり、長野駅行きは20分に1本程度も来るため、列車には困らないが、混雑していることもあるので注意。トイレはきれいで使い心地がいい。駅スタンプは改札窓口におかれていて、駅員が対応してくれる。待合室は暑く、過ごしやすいとはいえないのが難点だが、松本方面、長野方面、軽井沢方面に繋がるので大変便利で、駅付近にはコンビニ、郵便局、スーパーマーケットなどの施設も多い。
There is a station building under the elevated Shinkansen, and it is sometimes very noisy, but it is a quiet station during the day. The Kawanakajima Battleground is famous, but there is no historical heritage near the station. Kawanakajima station is fast and the train goes to Nagano station about once every 20 minutes, so it's not a problem for trains, but be careful as it may be crowded. The toilet is clean and comfortable to use. The station stamp is placed at the ticket gate, and the station staff will take care of it. The waiting room is hot and not easy to spend, but it is very convenient because it connects to Matsumoto, Nagano, and Karuizawa, and there are many facilities such as convenience stores, post offices, and supermarkets near the station.

ホームへの移動はエレベーターがありますが、移動距離が長いのでせっかく設置されてもあまり使われておりません。
駅員さんは夕方にはいなくなるので、常時は在勤しておりません。
長野エリアは長野駅と篠ノ井駅しか自動改札が無く、川中島は手動改札です。
更に言えば長野エリアは未だにSuica未対応エリアなので、そろそろ導入してもらいたいです。

There is an elevator to move to the home, but it is not used much even if it is installed because the distance is long.

当時は駐輪場が無料で使えるのが当たり前と思っていました。
今は長野を離れ、別の地域で生活していますが駅前は駐輪場が月極となっている所が多いです。タダで駐輪場が使えるのは嬉しいです。

Now I'm away from Nagano and living in another area, but there are many places where the bicycle parking lot is monthly in front of the station. I am happy to be able to use the bicycle parking lot for free.
