B	Benjamin de Leon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple itself itself is just like any other temple but the highlight of this sight is the Go hyaku Rakan (500 statues). What a sight!
S	Shweta Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had read so much about this place, especially about the 500 statues of Buddha disciples also locally known as gohyaku rakanthat I was really looking forward to it. However I was terribly disappointed after reaching the place. The statues are not well maintained, look very old and many of them broken. Visit the shrine only if you are in that area, not worth going out of your way to see the place.
N	Nera Ormello on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting temple. You can get inside for a couple of yen and walk inside the beautiful building. The ticket also includes the entrance to see the statues that are outside the temple itself, the signs to get there are all in japanese but its right next to the big souvenir store in front of the temple.

B	Boho Travelogue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple is little far from the kawagoe station or kawagoe main shopping area. But you can reach there by using loop line bus. This bus is free if you have tobu-kawagoe discount pass. The bus service is more frequent in weekends. In this shirne there are 500 statues. Very peaceful and nice place to visit. Durinh new years holiday the shrine seems to be very busy.

S	Shafayet Mortuza (Master of Shadow) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lots of history to go through if I want to make a perfect review of this place right now, so I'm just telling from my little knowledge and experience. Today I visited Kawagoe for work purpose, when returning home at the evening, on my way to Kawagoe station, I came through old and historical structure like building, and that increased my interest. After opening map application in my phone, I found treasure mine again. A lots of historical places, castle remains, ruins, museum, temple, park, Shinto packed in an area. A must visit place for tourist. You must reserve the whole day for exploring the whole area, though I doubt you can't finish it whole. I will come soon again after getting enough idea and history about this place.
