The service is good and one of the cooks is very attentive to your tea cup and makes sure you have enough. The cleanliness of the old wooden tables could be improved though.

B	Beck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed this restaurant. The Katsu was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The staff were friendly and there was an English menu which helped us navigate what to order. Right next door almost to our hotel as well so that was great.

As usual, the meals include soup, salad, and small dessert. The katsu is very unique. I don’t know whether it’s because of the menu I took. The way they make the katsu it’s like thin slices of meat being rolled up and then fried. It’s delicious! I’ve eaten at many katsu places in Tokyo because but I’ve never eaten katsu like how they make it in this restaurant. Maybe it’s a Matsumoto special. If that’s the case, even more so to try it if you happen to pass by or visiting the city. English menu available!
