There is no other castle where you can see the mountains so beautifully ... Also, the maples are wonderful during the autumn colors! You can drive to the main enclosure, but be careful if you are unfamiliar with driving because it is difficult to see the branch on the way and the access road along the ridge is unpaved and inaccessible.

The parking fee is free, but the chrysanthemum flower exhibition is 500 yen, and many award-winning chrysanthemums are on display. Two dolls were dressed in chrysanthemums. There were many chrysanthemums near the pond, and the autumn leaves were loved at the same time, which made me very happy. You can also watch Japanese drum performances and floats depending on the time. There are plenty of attractions such as the azalea with a pond on the wisteria trellis and the Senshin-tei where you can drink matcha green tea, the many autumn leaves on the vast site with different heights, the terraced rice fields and the viewing platform where you can see Mt. The cherry blossoms are around. Both cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are lit up. The stone walls and gates are also quite nice and are full-scale castle ruins and the place of the stage at the end of the Edo period. Yoshitsugu Nihonmatsu, who confronted Date Masamune, comes to mind as the lord of the castle, but it seems that Nobunaga Oda Shigeomi Niwa served as the lord of the Nihonmatsu feudal clan.

When I visited the park, which is quite rich in nature, cluster amaryllis was in bloom, but there were also quite a few maple trees, so I can imagine that the time of autumn leaves would be beautiful. The chrysanthemum doll exhibition that will be held at that time (currently only the chrysanthemum flower exhibition) will be held, so it seems good to see it together. It is said that the scale of the exhibition has been reduced for the past two years due to the influence of the corona, so I visited Kasumigajo while hunting for autumn leaves. The chrysanthemum flowers are all right, and the chrysanthemum dolls are only the palace and the princess. Let's say that the Japanese atmosphere was very nice because there were only castle ruins, such as a drink of tea at the front shrine on the way, the umbrella end called Yachiyo pine, the contrast between maple and ginkgo, and the leaves of maple that penetrate the afternoon sun. ..
