山門の隣には愛知県の史跡に指定されている城宝寺古墳があります。
Johoji is a temple of the Jodo sect and enshrines Benzaiten of the Tokai Shichifukujin. Also known as the Bodaiji Temple of Watanabe Kazan, the stunning ceiling paintings are also worth a visit.
Next to the Sanmon, there is the Johoji Ancient Tomb, which is designated as a historic site in Aichi Prefecture.
