ヤ	ヤマ田太郎 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春日部市と聞いてイメージするのは正直「クレヨンしんちゃん」ぐらいしかないなぁ、と思っていたらあるのですよ、資料館内に「クレヨンしんちゃん」のコーナーが（笑）。ある意味、春日部一の有名人ですからね。平成16年に「野原しんのすけ」で住民登録されており、立派な春日部市民だったのは初めて知りました。また資料館には野原家が春日部市を紹介するパンフレットが置いてあったのですが、しんちゃんから春日部市の名所を聞かれた両親のヒロシとミサエは答えに詰まってしまい、最後に「な何にもねぇ～！！」と叫ぶ自虐的なシーンは、資料館の中にもかかわらず、つい吹き出してしまいました。いえいえ有りますよ、もちろん（笑）。春日部（当時は粕壁）は日光街道の宿場町として古くから栄えた場所ですから。その粕壁宿の全体像を200分の１スケールで再現したジオラマの出来が秀逸で、当時の賑わいが伝わってきそうです。個人的には現在の同一地点を同一スケールで再現すると、宿場町が今はどう変化したかが分かって面白いと思うのですが。ついでに言うとスケールを国際スケールの144分の１にしてくれると、ガンダムと同じなので比較しやすいし、なんなら並べて遊ぶ事も出来ます（笑）。 Honestly, when I hear Kasukabe City, I think that there is only "Crayon Shin-chan", and there is a "Crayon Shin-chan" corner in the museum (laughs). ロ	ロン・オッター on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここの資料館を所管する教育委員会のすぐ隣というロケーションであり、これはさぞかし充実した展示や解説が期待できるぞ、と喜び勇んで見学に向かいました。んー、微妙。ちょっと貧相かなー。縄文時代の貝塚はそれなりですが、以後は駆け足での展示の印象です。確かに縄文時代は東京湾の海進によって、台地を除くこの辺り一帯は大部分が海だったため、貝塚が多数あります。が、貝塚は所詮廃棄物処理場、目ぼしい出土品は期待できません。また、時代を下り荘園や戦国時代もこの辺は特筆するような史跡やイベントもないようです。江戸時代に入り春日部は宿場町として栄えますが、やはり天領や旗本領の幕府直轄地であり、ご当地の名君や城跡などもなく（陣屋で萌えるのはごく一部の好事家でしょう）、淡々と時代を下っていく印象です。やはり春日部らしさを展示物で表現しようとすると、自然と戦後ベッドタウンにならざるを得ないのは仕方ないのでしょうか。そんなわけで、どうも歴史の重みを感じない淡白な展示の印象となっているのは否めないです。百年後には春日部が誇る有名人、大塚家具の一族とそのお家騒動を是非取り上げてください！きっと良いアクセントになるかと思います。 The location is right next to the Board of Education, which has jurisdiction over the museum here, and I gladly headed for the tour, hoping that I could expect a fulfilling exhibition and commentary.
