★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant with great service and homemade udon. We had to wait a bit for get a table since we arrived on the middle of the dinner rush. The service was impeccable, even offered us a bigger table once one became available. The Udon tempura shrimp was probably the best dish of the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cosy place. The staff were so lovely and caring. We ate the best tempura during our holiday in Japan. The udon soup were rich in flavour and well-seasoned. We really enjoyed it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best meal we had in Kyoto. Udon, tempura, sake and the side dishes were excellent. Everything was made with care and to perfection. The waiter was a very cheerful friendly young man who spoke quite good English. Wished we had time to go back a second time. Will be in our to go place in our next visit.
