平成28年3月参拝。
高台にあり、景色が良いです。
訪問する途中に学校があり、河津桜が満開
で見事な物でした。
御朱印お願いするも、首が痛くて書けない
と、お断りでした。
 Nichiren Buddhist temple.
Visited in March 2016.
It is on a hill and the scenery is good.
There is a school on the way to visit, Kawazu cherry tree is in full bloom

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平治の乱により伊豆に流罪となった源頼朝は、蛭が小島で父祖の菩提を弔いながら過ごしたと云われています。
六萬部寺の経塚は、源頼朝が父祖の冥福と源氏再興を祈念し、法華経六万部を読誦し埋納した場所と伝わっています。
六万部寺の経塚は、古墳(柏谷横穴群と同時代の円墳)を転用したものと考えられています。
It is said that Minamoto no Yoritomo, who was exiled to Izu due to the Heiji rebellion, spent his time on a small island while mourning his ancestor's bodhi.
The sutra mound of Rokumanbu Temple is said to be the place where Minamoto no Yoritomo read and buried 60,000 copies of the Lotus Sutra in prayer for the ancestor's soul and the revival of the Genji.
It is believed that the Kyozuka of Rokumanbeji is a diversion of an old burial mound (a circular burial mound of the same period as the Kashiya Yokoanagun).
