★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場もそこそこあり、周りは住宅街だが境内は木々で囲まれていて静かなので、また参拝したくなる場所でした。
 There is also a parking lot, the surrounding area is a residential area, but the grounds are surrounded by trees and it is quiet, so I wanted to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 菅谷まつり（大助まつり）鹿島神社
150年以上の歴史を誇る菅谷まつりは、3年に1度行われる伝統の祭りです。山車のほか、神輿が大助囃子（おおすけばやし）のにぎやかな音色に乗ってまちに繰り出します。夜、数百にものぼる提灯で彩られた山車が、菅谷鹿島神社に繰り込む様は迫力があり、まさに圧巻です。
2017年秋の紅葉 もみじが綺麗でした。
Sugaya Festival (Osuke Festival) Kashima Shrine
The Sugaya Festival, which boasts a history of over 150 years, is a traditional festival held every three years. In addition to the floats, a portable shrine rides on the lively tones of Osuke Bayashi to the town. At night, the floats decorated with hundreds of lanterns are so powerful that they come to the Sumiya Kashima Shrine.
Maple leaves in autumn 2017 were beautiful.

社務所は無人でしたが拝殿へ向かって右側へ行くと「鹿島神社神主 和田」と表札が有り御自宅にて御朱印を頂きました
You can park on the approach road through the torii gate facing the road.
The office was unmanned, but when I went to the right side toward the hall of worship, there was a nameplate saying "Kashima Shrine priest Wada" and I got a red stamp at my home.

「菅谷のちょうちん祭り」で有名です。
次回予定は、平成31年8月15日予定。
The deity of the priest is Taketsutsu Okami.
It is famous for "Sugaya no Lantern Festival".
The next schedule is August 15, 2019.

広い境内で周りを高い木に囲まれた雰囲気のある神社でした。カーナビで行ったら神社の裏側に案内されました。宮司さんは祈祷中のようで御朱印は頂きませんでした。
I first visited at 2019.3.15.
It was a shrine with an atmosphere surrounded by tall trees in wide precincts. When I went by car navigation system I was guided behind the shrine. Miyashi seemed to be in prayer and he did not receive a red seal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もみじの木が沢山植えられていました。紅葉の季節はキレイだと思います。緑のもみじも また清々しかったです。
ちらほら参拝客も来ていました。
御朱印は社務所裏のご自宅にお声を掛け、授与所にて頂けました。
決して大きな神社ではありませんが、落ち着く、癒しの杜というかんじでした。
Many maple trees were planted. I think the autumn season is beautiful. The green maple was also fresh.
There were visitors here and there.
Goshuin was able to speak to his home behind the office and have it at the awarding office.
It's not a big shrine, but it was a calming, healing forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鹿島神社ですので武甕槌命を祀っています。参拝した時には氏神様の社と思っていましたが、金刀比羅神社、弁天社、熊野神社、稲荷神社があるようです。（サイトを見て知りました。ありがたいものです。）
江戸時代でも大きかったからでしょうか、説明書きにもある通り水戸の藩主様が関わりましたので葵紋が前面に押し出されています。
境内は広く、おそらく行事などが開かれるものと思われます。
駐車場が分からず、境内に止めてもよかったのかもしれませんが近くのスーパーのひと枠をお借りしました。
龍や獅子ではなく波の宮彫でしたので行く方は見てみてください。質素ながら迫力のあるものでした。
Since it is Kashima Shrine, I worship Takemitsu Hammering. When we worshiped, we thought it was the shrine of Mr. Kotohira, but there are Kotohira Shrine, Benten Shrine, Kumano Shrine, and Inari Shrine. (I saw the site and found it. Thank you.)
Perhaps because it was large even in the Edo period, the Aoi crest was pushed to the front because the lord of Mito was involved as described in the explanation.
The precincts are large and events are probably held.
We did not understand parking lot and may have been able to stop in the precincts, but borrowed person frame of supermarket nearby.
It is not a dragon or a lion, but a wave shrine sculpture. It was powerful but simple.
