ヨ	ヨッパのホッシー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR山陽本線にある岡山県最西端の駅。広島・福山方面は１面２線式ホーム、岡山・倉敷方面は１面１線式ホームとなっている。両方のホームは跨線橋で結ばれており、エレベーターが設置されバリアフリー対策がなされている。駅前にはロータリーがあり、タクシーが常駐する。路線バスの乗り場もあり便利。駅付近は飲食店、商店が点在し金融機関もある。住宅と商店などが混在した街並みは落ち着いた成熟感があり、安心して散策ができた。 The westernmost station in Okayama prefecture on the JR Sanyo Main Line. The Hiroshima / Fukuyama area has a one-sided two-wire platform, and the Okayama / Kurashiki area has a one-sided one-wire platform. Both platforms are connected by an overpass, and elevators are installed and barrier-free measures are taken. There is a roundabout in front of the station, and taxis are resident. There is also a bus stop, which is convenient. The area around the station is dotted with restaurants and shops, and there are also financial institutions. The cityscape with a mixture of houses and shops had a calm and mature feeling, and I was able to take a walk with peace of mind.

R	Run kumamon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ◎駅前がよく整備された気持ちいい地方駅瀬戸内の島に渡る拠点となる駅。 ◎良い点 ⚫︎笠岡の観光パンフレットが置いてある。 ⚫︎駅前大通りが「気持ちいい」ほどよく整備されています。 (笠岡市民以外は国道2号線を車で通過するし、ましてJRで笠岡で下車する目的が皆無だけに、駅前がこんなに美しく整備されていることを知らない。) ◎残念な点 ⚫︎駅のセブンイレブンが24時間営業じゃない。 ⚫︎海側に行くのが不便。 ⚫︎活気はない。気持ち Pleasant local station where the station square was well maintained A station that serves as a base for crossing the Setouchi island. 良い Good points There is a tourist brochure of Kasaoka. There are many trains, many people, and 7-Eleven ... I was surprised in a good way. The orange Kasaoka station is vivid. I wanted to use the toilet, but it didn't seem to be outside the ticket gate. I got the impression that the area around the station was not very lively and was struggling.
