笠間城址を散策するのには、こちらの駐車場から徒歩で行くのが一番良いと思います。

広い駐車場です。
トイレはありません。途中の無料公営駐車場にはトイレがありました。
8時半から利用出来るそうですが、山城、もう少し早くから利用できると良いのに。と思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在は、倒木は無く利用可です☝️広いし無料なのでGood☝️ここは、笠間城の曲輪の一部であり、ここから大手門跡はすぐです。石垣や空堀も残り、見どころ満載です。トイレ?はここにはありません☝️つつじ公園か、下の駐車場?️にあります☝️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今では駐車場となっていますが、かつては笠間城の一部で、千人溜まりと言われるほどの曲輪になっていたようです。
かなり、広かったということでしょう。
今では車が20～30台は停められそうな感じです。しかも、訪問者も少ないので楽々停められます。（シーズンはこの限りではないかも。）
つつじ公園の駐車場が満車の際には、少し歩きますがこちらも利用できます。
