写真の通り現在は発掘調査の跡地が整備してあるだけです。但し歩いて行ける範囲内に、出土した石器などが展示してある「岩宿博物館(320円)」や石器時代の住居が再現された「岩宿人の広場」、岩宿のリアルな地層が見れる「岩宿ドーム」、古代ハス池があります。そして何よりも３万年も昔に日本人が生活していた環境を体感出来る事は素晴らしい事です。ハイキングコースが設定されていて、歴史ロマンを感じながらの散策はなんとも言えません。道を挟んだ場所に駐車場がありますが博物館の近くに「第一駐車場」がありますので色々まわりたい方はそちらの方が大きくもあり便利です。

However, within walking distance, there are the "Iwajuku Museum (320 yen)" where excavated stone tools are displayed, the "Iwajuku People's Square" where the stone age dwellings are reproduced, and the realistic strata of Iwajuku. There is a "Iwajuku Dome" that you can see and an ancient lotus pond. And above all, it is wonderful to be able to experience the environment in which Japanese people lived 30,000 years ago. Hiking trails are set up, and you can't say anything about walking while feeling the romance of history. There is a parking lot across the road, but there is a "first parking lot" near the museum, so if you want to go around, that is bigger and more convenient.

I am proud that my beloved Gunma has great archaeological sites that have completely overturned archaeological dogma. Aizawa Sensei's feat is by no means inferior to that of Schliemann, who discovered Tarwissa (Troya). The statue of Sensei, which stands in a corner of the forest in the park, reminds us of the noble personality who faces the truth while illuminating the quiet blue flames with a firm belief. It's a masterpiece statue.

写真の場所は当時の地層を拝観し 歴史の流れを解りやすく映像説明しています。
此の直ぐ近くには関連資料館が複数あり多数の人が来訪してます。
古代渡良瀬川本流だった大きな沼もあり釣り人も数多で楽しめます。
広い無料の駐車場も有るので興味有ればオミクロン株を持ち込まず一度お越しください。

博物館で打製石器等の発掘物の展示や、近くのドームで地層断面等が見られます。
ただ、内容はなかなか難しいのと、全体的に暗目で字が小さいので年取ってからだと、見学するのが辛い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 改めて3.5万年前と途方もない気の遠くなる程の昔の遺跡を前に身震いを覚えました。岩宿時代の発見者である相沢忠洋氏には感謝したいです???
素人ならではの発見だったんだろな～その努力と根性に脱帽です。
と共に岩宿時代の生活は寒さや、暑さ、食糧などにどう対応してたのかを想像するに大変な生活振りに圧倒されました。
Once again, I felt trembling in front of the tremendously daunting old ruins of 35,000 years ago. I would like to thank Mr. Tadahiro Aizawa, the discoverer of the Iwajuku era ???
It must have been a discovery unique to an amateur.
